Sparkling in Rescues
Are you enjoying the album as much as I am?? It's reminiscent of a lot of the bands that are reigning the pop punk scene at the moment-- All Time Low, The Academy Is...-- and I like that! I like it even more when I recommend it to my friends and they all get something new to fall in love with =)
These catchy, fun, energetic tunes will be my summer anthems. This summer is going to ROCK.

EVERYONE HAS EYES TO THE SUN
HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO! More importantly, HAPPY SPARKS THE RESCUE ALBUM RELEASE DAAAAY! If you all checked them out at myspace.com/sparkstherescue, I know you all have been anxiously waiting for today like I have.
I was looking through reviews just yesterday and I came across one that gave me that "lightbulb" moment where the explanation put my thoughts into perfectly fitting words. The reviewer wrote about Sparks the Rescue, " It sounded like the band had taken a few lessons from Cartel and the Starting Line and combined it with a splash of Saosin and Boys Night Out." That's exactly it! Cartel's unforgettably catchy hooks, with the Starting Line's beautiful feel-good sound, Saosin's edge, and Boys Night Out's energy is what Sparks is all about. But don't just take my word for it! Sparks the Rescue is my kind of band. It’s no secret I’m a fan of pop punk. I live and breath music and pop punk is the oxygen in my air. Sparks is a band that has that… well, SPARK that sticks in your mind like caramel on your teeth. You try and try to get it off; you want to, but it just stays there and secretly, you love it there because all day you can taste the sweetness.
Check them out for a treat that won't lead you into a dentist's chair... cause those things are scaaary =)
